The music soared and wrapped around them, as they suddenly scaled the floor. Their feet never seemed to touch the ground. Whisking around in a perfect spin, their grand body flight. As the notes seared their bodies to one, creating a current of brilliance.
The physical connection surged them into one floating mass of beauty and perfection. Compression, a smooth unwavering frame and flow. There was no time, no other moment other than the lovely awe that filled the eyes of those who watched.
Teasing each other with a look deep-set into their eyes and then away with a gaunt. Their stoic faces did not reveal the intense pleasure they both felt as they streamed across the floor. They didn’t need to it was fluid throughout their bodies.
Creeping into a world of their own, lifted to the universe beyond anyone’s comprehension. It was an event just to be in the presence of such intense marvel. Her direct eyes twinkling across the audience and his very small smile waving to us all. They slightly knew we were there. This was their instance, no one else could participate, despite the fact we were all involved.
The curve of her gown flurried in the air and sailed into the waves of wonder. Still their feet were soaring in an empty space. Their legs seemed molded into to a solid form but effortlessly meeting proper sequence. The lights danced off of their streaming curls left in the air by each turn.
This occurrence had leaped into another place and time that no one would pull themselves out of. We were transfixed and consumed by the radiance of each movement. No one wanted to wake back to the world we had just left. We were in a heavenly place and the angels joined with us proving the significance of the circumstance before us.
We all gasped as they traveled into their own escape within the folds of this universe. In a flash they were gone. As quickly as they came in to peak our hearts of pleasures beyond reason, they had vanished. The ghosts of the dance that revealed what could be.
